IHKA great Dutch marking sampler worked by IHK in 1781. Numerous setts of initials appear inside cartouches, most ending with the letter K. Many of these have a number stitched below the initials and these would have been for marking the amount of tablecloths, napkins, pillow cases, sheets, etc. there would have been in the household. There are two different styles of alphabets and a row of numbers. The date and a couple of crowns are worked in eyelet stitch. All this is enclosed in a simple border.
Conservation mounted and in great condition.
