E. VICKERS (1864)This diminutive marking sampler is from the Dorset County Museum in Dorchester, England, accession no. T136. These little samplers worked in cross stitch were generally part of a classroom exercise; other types of needlework were also practised such as darning, hemming, buttonholing, knitting etc. Often these were made up into a little booklet or mounted in a folder. Avaliable in silk floss only.
