MINIATURE SAMPLER

MINIATURE SAMPLERA tiny little sampler from the Red Deer Museum. This particular sampler is unsigned and undated but probably dates to the early 1800's. They were usually part of a girls needlework exercise in school. The original was worked using linen thread. The entire sampler is worked in cross
stitch over one thread of linen.

Size: Finished Size: 3' x3" (7 cm x 7cm)
Thread Count: 25 count (10 thr/cm) on dyed linen.
