S.S. (1820)This charming sampler is a reproduction from The Bristol Museum and Art Gallery (England). Accession no. n 3905. Verse at the top is: "Prize the one thing needfull". Oversized birds perch in the top of trees and a small bird is in a cage. Everything is contained behind a picket fence.
Stitches used in our reproduction are cross, double running and cross over one thread.
