LISE BAGG SAMPLER (1820)A colorful little sampler from the National Museum of Denmark, in Copenhagen, Access. no. L 10.761/1962. (Tent stitch seems to have been used quite a lot on Danish samplers). A lovely assortment of borders are used in this sampler, two of which are worked in tent stitch. Other
stitches used are cross, four sided, and eyelet. All worked in silk floss. Lise completed her sampler on the 26th of May in 1820.

Thread Count: 30 count (14 thr/cm) on dyed linen.
