BETSY GILL (1777)Betsy's sampler is in the collection of the Vancouver Museum. The original sampler was worked on homespun green linsey-woolsey. Our reproduction is worked on hand-dyed green linen. It makes use of mostly cross stitch with some Algerian eye and running stitch. Motto stitched is: "Love Virtue in your Youth."
