Morales, Aquilina -1867

Aquilina's wonderful band sampler is of Spanish origin, worked mainly in red and greens. The samplers appears quite delicate due to the fact that some of the satin stitch bands have spaces between the stitches.
The sampler is worked using cross stitch, satin, four sided, double running, herringbone and some marking cross.
The original sampler is in a private collection.
