Estaer Andries - 1752
A small sampler from the province of Zeeland. There were a series of samplers stitched that featured the geometric patterns in satin stitch and the style of trees that are square in format.
Conservation mounted, great colour and excellent condition. Estaer's sampler is pictured in" samplers in the European Tradition, plate 9 and in "Common Thread/Common Ground' on p. 63
