sweet bagThis wonderful reproduction sweet bag will be offered as an online class, starting July 15th. Deadline for registering is June 15th.
The first lesson will be three months long and is basically designed so that all of the outlining and tent stitch can be worked. The next 4-5 lessons will be monthly.
The small bag is worked with double running, tent, plaited braid, Ceylon and spiders wheels using silk and silver and gold.
Lined with silk.
The cords are done in finger loop braiding and the baubles are covered with stitching, knotting and seed pearls.

There are two options, one is with real seed pearls and the cost will be $296.00 and with mini mill house beads it will be $260.00 There is a $11.50 charge for each lesson.

Worked on 35 count(14 thr/cm) linen. The finished size is 5" x 5" and then two sided.

We will look at other sweetbags and discuss finishes and I will try to make a video of the finger loop braiding
