ERIKA KATRINA AMANSON (1870)A small Swedish sampler containing the alphabet, including Swedish letters. Erika stitched the initials of family members on her sampler which is fairly common on Scandinavian samplers. She used several small border motifs, a small house, dog, anchor, and a temple all surrounding a
central flower. Worked entirely in cross stitch.
