ILB 1796
ILB’s charming sampler is from the city of Amsterdam as indicated by the coat of arms, the three crosses in a shield flanked by two lions. It also features the grape carriers, the Dutch maid in her garden with a hat on a pike, a spinning monkey, a hunting scene, a chicken coop and a wondeful and typical Dutch house with a garden and lovely fence. She stitched numerous family initials on to her sampler as well.
