Dutch embroidery sampler
A pattern worked sampler using queen stitch, cross stitch and various flame stitch patterns. These samplers were made in the middle of the 1700's and were reference for patterns used on small bags, shoes and household furnishings.
This sampler is conservation mounted and framed in a period frame behind UV glass.
